CodeW/Floppy provides a curriculum of classroom instruction and open-ended, problem-solving activities
that make learning science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fun for students. Tailored to
children from grades 1-12 our program will teach the students to master their analytical and programming
skills. The students are encouraged to share and seek each other’s input rather than doing it alone and
keeping what they have figured out to themselves. After the students have graduated from level 1, they
may sign up for successive levels to master advance topics.
Considered the base-building course, students here will experientially learn various concepts of Science & Math as per Common Core Standards. Students will also be exposed to the concepts of physical computing – gradually leading them to build their own codes on interactive platforms.
AGE GROUP: 7-9 YRS
This course introduces students to the fascinating world of simple machines and coding. Students will learn the basics of simple machines like wheel and axle, pulley and lever, and build various models using our kits to perform interesting activities. Students will also be introduced to the microbit code platform, where they will learn in detail about block-based programming and solve fun-based challenges on the laptop.
JUNIOR ENGINEER II
AGE GROUP: 8-10 YRS
In this program, students will be exposed to a pre-robotics phase where they will build & code their own robots with applications of 6 simple machines & concepts learned throughout the year.
Arduino is an open-source computer hardware/software platform for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control the physical world around them. In this course, you will learn how the Arduino platform works in terms of the physical board and libraries and the IDE (Integrated Development Environment).
