CodeW/Floppy provides a curriculum of classroom instruction and open-ended, problem-solving activities that make learning science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fun for students. Tailored to children from grades 1-12 our program will teach the students to master their analytical and programming skills. The students are encouraged to share and seek each other’s input rather than doing it alone and keeping what they have figured out to themselves. After the students have graduated from level 1, they may sign up for successive levels to master advance topics.

To embark on the journey of coding kids start with the scratch application. Kids design games using block level programming. They apply computational thinking & creativity to create their own games solving real world problems.

Students also participate in tailored, real-world case studies, in which they discuss technology solutions to local issues such as transportation, healthcare, and disaster relief. Arduino is an open-source computer hardware/software platform for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control the physical world around them. In this course you will learn how the Arduino platform works in terms of the physical board and libraries and the IDE (Integrated Development Environment). The course will also cover programming the Arduino using C code and accessing the pins on the board via the software to control external devices.
